If you’re near BBC One on Friday 17th March (10.35pm) you can enjoy Tom Hollander’s performance as Cutler Beckett in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, the second film in the franchise but the first time we meet his character.

  • Travesties (play) – The revival of Tom Stoppard’s play ‘Travesties‘ (directed by Patrick Marber) has been hugely popular with critics and audiences (search @TravestiesPlay on Twitter). Tom stars as Henry Carr and has been nominated for a Best actor Olivier Award for his brilliant performance. The production as a whole has had five Olivier Award nominations in total including for Best supporting actor and actress, best revival and best sound design.   • Revolution (screenings) – Tom reads the words of artist Kazimir Malevich in this documentary film about Soviet art. There’s a screening at 6pm on Friday, a few hours before Pirates of the Caribbean starts 😉
